Hello Queen Anne!

Small world eh? Funny who you bump into (figuratively speaking) when you're circumnavigating the globe!

We're not the only Cunard ship on a world voyage, Queen Anne is currently sailing in the opposite direction to us and on Tuesday morning at around 7:30am, whilst navigating through the Great Barrier Reef, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Anne sailed past each other, slowing to share whistle salutes before carrying on our respective ways. Yep, she's just another ship, but when you've been away from home for a while it's nice to see a familiar face so to speak.

Queen Anne and her crew have the unenviable task of dealing with the opposite time differences. Their days will be longer and at some point they'll repeat a day. We definitely had it the right way round

In others news, whilst we've been in New Zealand and Australia the overriding theme has been that we can't bring anything into those countries. They're insistent to the extreme, but apparently it's ok to take things away it seems, like this not at all small moth, about the size of a cigarette packet.

So onwards it s to Darwin on the 14th where I have plans, tomorrow being the 13th March where another milestone comes and goes!!
