Back to reality!

After the fun and games of Mexico, the guest voyage card was swapped out for the ships ID card as I returned to work!

Time to don the uniform and dig deep into the recesses of my mind and remember what it is that I do for a living.

As such, the blog will take a slight twist and shed a bit more of an insight into life on board as working crew once more. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm going to be talking about my commute to and from work but the viewpoint will alter.

All being well, it's unlikely to be mundane given the ports that are ahead in addition to the future events that are yet to unfold!

We arrived into Los Angeles this morning where I waved goodbye to Em as she heads home for a few weeks. Our clocks went back yet another hour taking us to GMT-8.

As we sailed into the Long Beach area we gave the original Queen Mary a morning greeting having not seen one another for 20 years.

That however is for another blog post as the day is yet done and tonight, all being well brings an exciting unexpected opportunity.

This post is a mere segway into that transition from guest to crew and hopefully an interesting next blog entry!!!!
